Before the age of man, the immortal gods wage war against each other in the heavens. The victors become the gods, while the defeated are imprisoned as the Titans in Mount Tartarus. During the war, the powerful Epirus Bow is lost.In 1228 BC, the ruthless King Hyperion of Heraklion lays waste to Greece in search of the Epirus Bow. He captures the virgin oracle Phaedra, hoping her visions will help him locate the bow and free the Titans to destroy the gods who failed to save his family. Meanwhile, the mortal Theseus, mentored by the disguised god Zeus, joins the fight against Hyperion. Theseus is enslaved after Hyperion's soldiers attack his village, killing his mother Aethra. He escapes with the thief Stavros and the oracle Phaedra, who joins their quest. Theseus is revealed to be the mortal chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against Hyperion. The gods are forbidden from interfering unless the Titans are freed. Theseus, Phaedra, and their allies battle Hyperion's forces, including the powerful Minotaur, to reach the Epirus Bow before Hyperion can use it to free the Titans and destroy the gods.
